Anyway, you can easily have this cool new buttons on your site with a few lines of code. Twitter allows you to customize the tweet buttons, so you can apply some CSS to style it up yourself.

I won’t be using it, but here’s just a try.

I’ve got some big plans coming up soon, for my personal site and a new service. My major exams are getting closer, I need to focus on that first so this cool stuff will only come in 2 months time.

I joined Picasa yesterday, I noticed they had an API. So I’ll be doing some integration with Picasa and my site. Displaying albums, linking albums, etc. Something to really look forward to. The next thing is adding Twitter integration, basically I’ll allow you to sign in using your Twitter ID and password, via Twitter’s API(OAuth), I’ll store the information in my database. The only information I’ll be storing is your full name, username and website address if you have one. I’m already working on the Twitter integration, I’d say I’m 50% done.

The other cool new service I’m planning to launch is like a feed placed all in one site. It grabs everything from various social networks and displays them on a single page. I’ll cache the data, if anything is updated, it’ll automatically update the cached data. I haven’t started working on it yet because it popped in my head while I was taking a bath yesterday. Its gonna be fun, stay tuned

We all know its a copy-copy world out there. It started when Facebook introduced the mentions feature which was originally a Twitter thing. After that, Twitter revealed a new feature dubbed ‘Who to follow’ which really is similar to Facebook’s ‘People You May Know’ feature. Today, Facebook responds or at least tries to respond back by introducing another new feature, it’s not exactly a feature but more of an addon or something like that.

You know when new tweets are made, you’ll be notified. The title of the page will change showing you the amount of new tweets in brackets beside the page title. For Facebook if you have unread notifications, it does the same too just on the other side.

What a coincidence eh? Refer below:

I’m not too sure if its a new feature but I noticed it after logging in Facebook after two or three days. Digg version 4 looks a lot like Facebook too, does that add Digg into the competition? Okay, time to get back to my movie.
