# Sending custom headers using .htaccess

by Manmohanjit Singh on Jul 2nd, 2010 in Code.

I had some free time so I thought of just playing around with my site. I’m not much of a Apache guy but I found out today that you can send custom headers using your .htaccess file. You can do it with PHP by using the header(); function.

Anyway this is how you do it using your .htaccess file:

Header set Message "Oh hai thar~!! From: Manmohanjit Singh"

It may sound immature but its fund :D . Anyway check out my headers.
